Stories, Immigration, and Law: Our Podcast.

Creating a podcast is like embarking on a journey without a map, where each episode is an exploration of unknown territories that are discovered along the way. This journey has become even more meaningful and personal for me and my sister, attorney María Quiroga, as we delve into the creation of our podcast Stories, Immigration, and Law.” This space has turned into an extension of our passion and commitment to justice and hope, sharing not only success cases but also those stories of determination and hope that have made a difference in people’s lives.

The Origin of Our Inspiration

The idea to start a podcast came from our common desire to get closer to those who need not only legal advice but also words of encouragement in difficult times. In Stories, Immigration, and Law,” we share real experiences, remarkable overcomings, and, yes, also challenges that seemed insurmountable. But what is behind this project? How is each episode born and developed?

The Creative Process

Everything begins with the selection of stories. María and I immerse ourselves in our cases, looking for those narratives that not only reveal the complexity of the immigration system but, above all, highlight the human spirit of struggle and overcoming. We draw inspiration from conversations with our clients, moments of challenge, and the victories, small and large, that we have achieved together.

Once the story is selected, we dive into the research process. We delve into legal details, social contexts, and the emotions involved. This allows us to present each case with the richness and depth it deserves, connecting with our listeners on a more personal and human level.

Scriptwriting is the next step, and perhaps the most challenging. This is where we transform the information and emotion into a coherent and captivating narrative. We look for ways to tell each story so that it resonates in the hearts of our listeners, conveying not only knowledge but also hope and solidarity.

Recording is the magical moment where everything comes to life. María and I share the microphone, exchanging roles between narrators and commentators, allowing our personalities and our closeness as siblings to enrich the narrative. This space has allowed us to show our humanity, share a bit of our personal and professional lives, and strengthen that unique bond with those who listen to us.
